STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
  The Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) State Programs, within the Florida Department of Education, administers  
     a  variety of postsecondary educational state-funded grants and scholarships, and provides information to students, parents,
     and high school and postsecondary professionals.

    The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program has helped more than 405,000 Florida students attend a postsecondary
    institution. The program offers three levels of scholarship awards – the Florida Academic Scholars award (FAS), the Florida
    Medallion Scholars award (FMS), and the Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholars award (GSV). Read this brochure to find out

STUDENT ORGANIZATION OPPORTUNITIES AT SVEC
    SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled work force. We
    help each student excel. SkillsUSA serves more than 300,000 students and instructors annually.  The organization has 13,000
    school chapters in 54 state and territorial associations.  More than 14,500 instructors and administrators are professional
    members of SkillsUSA. Participation can lead to industry job offers, scholarships and volunteer opportunities. Competitions take
    place starting in February at a regional level and then move to state, national and international levels.

    The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential
